Reminders and last-call warnings

How optional reminders work, when they arrive, and the final warning before your check-in window closes.

Updated 2026-07-21

Check-ins are the main event, but FineStreak can also nudge you around them so a busy day does not turn into a missed day.

Reminders

Each goal can have an optional reminder by text or call, offset from your check-in time. A common setup is a text 15 minutes before your check-in, so the check-in itself never sneaks up on you. Goals created with a "gentle" setup during onboarding get a reminder by default; everything else leaves it off until you turn it on.

You configure reminders per goal: on or off, text or call, and how many minutes before or after your check-in time. Bedtime goals support a heads-up text before your bedtime.

Last-call warnings

If your day is almost over and a check-in is still open, FineStreak sends a final warning before the window closes, so a fine or a broken streak never arrives as a surprise. You will always get a chance to act before a miss becomes final.

Proof goals have flexible timing

For screenshot and photo goals, the scheduled time is when we prompt you, and for most of these goals you can submit your proof any time before midnight. The reminder and last-call flow exists to make sure "I'll do it later" actually happens.

Too many messages? Too few?

Reminders are entirely optional and adjustable per goal from the Goals page, or just text your Agent and tell it what you want. Say "remind me an hour earlier" in your own words and it will handle it.
