Adding a goal

The goal types FineStreak supports, what each one tracks, and how to set one up from your dashboard.

Updated 2026-07-21

Goals are the core of FineStreak. Each goal runs on its own schedule, its own check-in method, and its own fine setting. Add and manage them from the Goals page on your dashboard.

The goal presets

  • Workout. Gym, running, or home workouts. Check in with a screenshot of your logged workout or a photo showing you at the gym, any time before midnight.
  • Walking. Daily steps or distance. Screenshot your step counter, with an optional daily step target.
  • Wake Up Call. A phone call at your set time. You must answer to log the day.
  • Go to bed. A bedtime check-in by call or text, with optional proof that you are in bed.
  • Calories. Screenshot your calorie tracking app (Cronometer, MyFitnessPal, and similar) at the end of your day. The AI reads the values and verifies the date matches today.
  • No alcohol. A daily check-in by call or text. You can add a breathalyzer photo or a BAC tracker screenshot as proof, and you can check in more than once per day.
  • Stop a habit. Pick the habit you want to break: smoking, video games, social media scrolling, online shopping, or complaining. Daily check-in by text or screenshot proof.
  • Mood track. A short daily check-in on how you are feeling. Entries are logged and categorized so you can spot patterns. No photo needed.
  • Work track. Screenshot your time tracker or send a photo of yourself at your desk, with an optional target for hours worked.

How many goals you can run

During the free week you focus on one goal. On a paid plan, how many goals you can run depends on your plan and rank. You start with up to 3 or 4 goals and unlock more as you rank up.

Setting fines

Fines are off on every new goal. If you want money on the line, you enable fines per goal, set the amount, and confirm. See How fines are charged for details.
