Disputing a fine
How to dispute a fine, what happens while we review it, and how quickly disputes are resolved.

Photo verification and phone systems are good, and they are imperfect. When a fine is wrong, disputing it is fast and built into the product.
How to file a dispute
Open the Fines page on your dashboard (or in the app), find the fine, and tap Dispute. Pick a category that fits what happened, tell us what went wrong in your own words, and submit. You can dispute any pending fine, and a pending fine stays editable until your next invoice.
What happens next
The fine is held while we check. Some disputes resolve instantly: if our systems can confirm the problem, like an outage on our end, the fine is auto-approved and waived on the spot. Everything else gets a manual review, and we respond within 24 hours.
Our bias is toward you
If we got it wrong, we waive the fine. We would rather waive a fine than charge someone who showed up. That is a standing policy, and it applies to verification mistakes, calls that failed to connect, uploads that did not go through, and anything else on our end.
Tracking your dispute
Each fine on the Fines page shows its dispute status: under review, approved, or denied. Approved disputes show the fine as waived, and waived fines never bill.
