I wrote this in 2019. I was 28, in debt, drinking too much, and trying to climb out of a hole I had dug myself. One weekend I sat down and put on paper the specific stuff that had actually worked for me. Not theory. Not motivation. The cheap loud alarm clock across the room. Cancel the subscriptions. Throw out the alcohol. Pay off the debt before you do anything else.
I am republishing it in 2026 with almost nothing changed. Most of it still holds. Sleep is still the lever. Environment still beats motivation. Action still comes before the feeling. The framework did not need an update.
What it did need was a closer. The 2019 version had no consequence layer. That gap is why I built FineStreak. The refreshed PDF includes a 2026 preface and a closing note on what I added since.
